Need to know weight of these OEM parts

Some of you know that im taking my daily driver GSR and turning it into my race only car. That being said, im trying to make the car as light as possible.

Heres what im needing to know;

How much does the HOOD, FRONT FASCIA, and 2 FRONT FENDERS weigh? Im pretty sure the hood weighs about 35-40lbs, and the front fascia weighs about 15lbs. Ok so thats like 55lbs right? How much do the front fenders weigh?

The reason im asking all of this is, i was/am interested in the MMR "one piece front end". However, further inspection shows that the shipping weight of the piece is 60lbs. This does not include the mount kit that i will need to apply the piece. Im thinking that the one piece kit is for helping in the aid of using slicks, rather than weight savings, no?

Also, any idea how much the rear hatch weighs? They advertise a fiberglass unit for a fairly cheap price. However, there is a problem with this. When you look at the piece, it says "bolts up with factory mounts". But when you goto "BUY THIS ITEM", it states that you "must fabricate own mounts"?

Im soo confused...

I suspect that the shipping weight includes the crate that it comes in... I would be very surprised if it actually weighed 60 pounds. I have seen complete 1-piece carbon fiber front ends weigh as little as 12 pounds.

Good point Jim, i did not think of that......

Do you have an alternate places to buy this stuff, other than MMR?
